Flax crackers with cheese, jam and avocado

Remember how I said there’s a bazillion different things you can eat with flax crackers?

Well, here’s another one…

“Raw flax crackers topped with generous helpings of Botanical Cuisine’s raw walnut cheese and raw pear and muscat jam, finished off with creamy chunks of fresh avocado.”

Mmmmm, sounds like a menu item from some fancy raw food restaurant.

But no, it’s simply what I ate for lunch yesterday.

Gee, it’s a tough life.

And a delicious one too.

The tang of the cheese goes with the sweet of the jam SO well.

And the avocado just adds a fabulous touch of decadence.

(And it’s healthy! Yeah, it’s healthy too, I swear. I mean, it has to be, right?)

Think maybe it’s time you went and made some raw flax crackers for yourself?

I use my 5-tray Excalibur dehydrator once or twice a week, for crackers, breads, biscuits, cakes or even just for thawing things. It does an awesome job and makes eating raw SO much easier.
