Having the right tools in the kitchen has totally transformed my experience with food preparation.
There are some gadgets that just make things more complicated, and there are others that you wish you’d bought years ago.
Everything just gets simpler, faster and easier to clean, and suddenly you’re eating better than you ever thought possible.
These are some of my absolute favourite kitchen gadgets of all time, especially for making raw food recipes.
High-speed blender
I use my Vitamix blender at least 2-3 times EVERY day. It’s fast, so versatile and super quick and easy to clean.
I couldn’t live without mine. I absolutely love it!

Food processor
I use my powerful food processor three or four times a week, for making nut butters, desserts, sauces, burgers and more.
It’s great for large batches and dishes that need texture and just makes “cooking” so much faster.

Dehydrator
I use my Excalibur dehydrator once or twice a week, for crackers, breads, biscuits, cakes, for fermenting kefir, or even just for thawing things.
It does an awesome job and makes eating raw SO much easier.

Infrared thermometer
I never thought such a simple gadget could make my life so much easier in the kitchen.
I originally bought mine to make sure my raw food recipes were staying cool enough, but quickly realised that it has SO many more uses, including preventing burned tongues, checking fridge and freezer functions, and even testing bath water. I love mine!

Nut milk bag
We use our nut milk bag every single day to make raw almond milk.
Of course, we made ours from a 50c piece of curtain fabric, but if you can’t be bothered doing that, there are plenty of great pre-made nut milk bags that you can buy.

Rounded tablespoon
I never would have thought that my rounded tablespoon could come in so handy.
But it’s totally perfect for making raw cookies, especially my raw vegan coconut macaroons.
