I've discovered a quick and inexpensive way to make your own nut milk bag, that doesn't even require any sewing. I got so frustrated with my purchased nut milk bag that I figured there had to be a better solution, and I found one that's so fast, cheap and effective that it almost seems silly to share it.
I'm currently exploring ways to eat sauerkraut that don't involve hot dogs. So I paired wholegrain brown rice with a couple of tablespoons of sauerkraut and a grated apple. I also discovered that it goes really well with fresh chicory, kelp noodles and red capsicum.
So what does a raw vegan eat on a daily basis? Well, it varies tremendously, but there's always a central theme of raw, vegan, whole foods that I keep coming back to, no matter how much I play with other ideas and recipes. Here's a sample of my recent raw vegan daily diet.
We've had an amazing journey in the last twelve months, part of which was Paul's "miraculous" recovery from high cholesterol results and the threat of statin drugs, just through natural and simple changes to our lifestyle.
